Alright. Let’s have the Justin Fields conversation.

He’s definitely not the main issue for the #Bears right now. The OL is terrible, the DL is nonexistent, and the coaching staff is awful.

But what I’ve seen today from Fields doesn’t move the needle in the slightest. It’s been the same thing: great on the ground, flashes through the air, still making too many bad decisions in the pocket.

There’s still a whole season ahead of us. We’ll definitively know whether he’s the guy at QB by the end of the year, if not sooner. But for all the hype, this isn’t the start he needed to have.

We still have 16 more games, but if this is the level of play Fields will have this year, you’re moving on from him this offseason.
