Kangpokpi has gone rogue tonight, with armed Chin-Kuki narco-terrorist groups attacking the Kangpokpi Police Station. SP Kangpokpi has been injured and is bleeding.

I am certain they must have welcomed the SP with shawls and other gestures upon his arrival, presenting them as tokens of respect and cooperation. Yet today, he pays the price for accepting those gestures, which were anything but a greedy gesturing deception.

This is not collateral damage in some crossfire. This was a child, brutally captured, tortured, and killed in cold blood. The sheer inhumanity of this act is unfathomable. It’s the horrifying reality of what’s happening in Manipur. How much cruelty will it take before we wake up? Why is the national media still silent? How can such barbarity go unnoticed, unspoken, unchallenged? Are we really waiting for international media to pick this up, for it to go viral, before we feel compelled to act? On this Human Rights Day, I demand justice for the victims of this relentless violence. We must hold the culprits accountable. This apathy is as inexcusable as the crime itself.
