Reasons why James Franklin Might want to coach at VT

1. Could get a 6 week head start on building next years team…HUGE

2. Full autonomy to build the football power structure HOWEVER he wants

3. Blank Check-if he wants to come he could get a contract in the realm of 6-8 years $70m

4. Easier conference to win in than the Big10 or SEC

5. Squarely in his recruiting footprint. Would be able to pick up right where he left off at Penn State

6. One of the most patient fan bases in all of college football. If he just wins 6+ games a year he’s going to get 5-10 years to build his program.
