Starting a couple weeks from now (April 23 & 24) if the weather is nice and I don't have any bookings, I'm going to be exploring some of my favorite spots in Waukegan and would be happy to do some free mini sessions if people want to meet me where I'm at. More details are tba.
After holding for as long as I could, I've finally started using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Creative Cloud. The old computer I had been using for photo editing had the battery swell up so doing most anything on that machine is an arduous task.
A few months into 2022 and I've doubled my total earnings on Adobe Stock Photography. Unfortunately I'm still well short of the $25 needed to withdraw the money that I earned.
Waiting for a client to call so I decided to check out songs about waiting. I was almost disappointed but then I saw they snuck Jack Johnson in as the last song.

One of the perks of being my own boss and having no bookings today is that I can work from home this morning. Then in the afternoon I'll head over to my studio.
I'm not sure why most places that offer film development don't put their prices up on their website. Maybe they just want a little human interaction or something. I'm just guessing.
Unexpected thing I learned from the real estate photography I've been going through recently is how to correctly pronounce "polygonal". I'm still surprised that it's not pronounced like polygon with simply the "al" sound at the end.
I was debating whether I could get by without getting any repair work done to my point and shoot, but after this morning it definitely needs work. Part of the way into my morning adventure the lens stopped coming out so the camera is unusable at the moment.
I'm having a tough time going back to sleep. So of course I'm contemplating only the most important questions like where to have film developed once I shoot a roll this month.
Ugh, I wish Gmail had a feature that you could set an email you've received to dehydrate delete after a set time. It'd make life a little easier so I wouldn't have to go back around and debate irrelevant emails.
Not sure what I'll be doing for a photo tomorrow, but most likely will not be like Oliver Turpin, who took photos of imprints left from his face in the snow.
