“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”
Very high praise from @McShay13 for CJ Carr after the Manning Passing Academy.
"CJ Carr was the MVP, and it wasn't even close."
Here's what he had to say on The McShay Show
Former Georgia QB Aaron Murray listed CJ Carr as his No. 1 quarterback heading into 2026.
Some people look at how Notre Dame’s season ended last year and wonder how a QB who didn’t walk away with hardware can generate this kind of buzz.
Aaron explains it in a way only a quarterback can:
“He’s a pure passer. It’s effortless, it’s smooth. The way he generates power from the ground up as a QB you fall in love with it — like, man, that guy’s got it. From a college and NFL standpoint, he checks every single box.”

Bad look by Bregman not hustling out of the box on a softly hit grounder to shortstop. Those are the instances fans don’t forget. Especially when other guys on the team (eg, Nico) consistently hustle and are known exactly for that.
@Nathan_Erbach No doubt. Those guys also don’t come on the radio every week giving the same worn out message that clearly everybody hates. At least Bregman just straight up said I suck. Either way, dudes need to perform better.
@Nathan_Erbach I’m not saying he’s not working hard. But it gets tiresome hearing him say this every single week given how MIL slaps us around every year and they’re already up like 10 games lol. So yeah everybody numbers might get back to norm after MIL has clinched🤣 oh well tho. Fall 2026☘️
