I am incredibly honoured to have been elected Deputy Leader of The Nationals Federal Parliamentary team, alongside our Leader @D_LittleproudMP and Senate Leader @senbmckenzie.
As someone who grew up in regional Australia, and has proudly represented regional communities for over a decade, I consider it a great privilege to take on this role.
The Nationals main focus is our regions, and I am committed to ensuring sure the voices of the nine million people who live outside our capital cities continue to be heard loud and clear in Canberra.
The Nationals have not lost a lower house seat since 2007. At this election, we also achieved a major swing toward us in Bendigo. This is a credit to our entire team, our candidates, and local campaigns that work tirelessly across the country.
I want to acknowledge Senator @PerinDavey for her service as Deputy Leader, a Shadow Minister and a strong advocate for regional NSW. She will be deeply missed in the Parliament.
Thank you to my colleagues in the Party Room for the trust they have placed in me.
I stand proudly with my colleagues and our Leader, David Littleproud to move forward united, with a clear goal — to deliver a fairer, stronger future for regional Australia.
#FreeSpeech is under threat in Australia. What is one person’s misinformation is another person’s opinion. Voltaire said, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
That is not what Labor in Australia think. They are a dangerous left wing government. #auspol
Nearly two years after floods devasted the NSW Northern Rivers, some residents of one inundated district don't understand why they've been rejected for assistance while their neighbours are approved @adharves#abc730
Watching mainstream media and left wing commentators reaction to the referendum result is slightly amusing but also concerning… they continue to search for answers as to how they got it so wrong, rather than realise they are simply out of touch with everyday Australians #auspol
Warren Mundine explodes at the Brisbane press gallery and good on him, well deserved.
"We had a vote tonight that said Australians want to get things done, wake up to yourselves and start asking real questions and making governments accountable!"

Australian pride was on full display yesterday as hundreds gathered in pubs to cheer on the Matildas in London.
While it wasn't the result they'd hoped for, Aussies overseas had plenty to celebrate.

Fair to say a few of the members at Lords aren’t happy with the… laws of the game? 😂
