While back at Ohio State for a spring practice in 2024, Jim Tressel delivered an inspiring statement:
โCarry the banner. Be proud, because when you get old and come back and look โ I canโt believe God gave me a chance to be a Buckeye. Because thereโs nothing like it.โ
Two shoulder surgeries. Sidelined for 1,241 days . Daniel Espino overcame everything and just recorded his first career strikeout with his mom in the standsโค๏ธ

Itโs amazing how quickly the gatekeepers of culture decide whatโs acceptable.
In June, every logo becomes a rainbow. Every stadium, every jersey, every broadcast gets a political message.
But put a Bible verse on your cap? Suddenly thatโs โcontroversial.โ
Put an American slogan front and center? Suddenly thatโs โdivisive.โ
The NFL had no problem painting political movements in the end zone. Major League Baseball has no problem turning every June into a month-long corporate activism campaign.
Yet the moment someone wants to celebrate faith, patriotism, or traditional values, weโre told those things donโt belong in sports.
Funny how the people preaching inclusion always seem to have a very specific list of viewpoints theyโre willing to include.
If rainbow logos belong in sports, then so do Bible verses.
If political messages belong in sports, then so do messages celebrating faith, family, and country.
The double standard isnโt subtle anymore. EVERYONE sees it.
Yankees fans were yelling slurs at Steven Kwan just a month into his career.
They treated Kwan and Mercado so poorly that Myles Straw climbed the fence to get them to stop. Then NY fans threw garbage at all 3 of them.
But sure, Tom Hamilton making fun of Jazzโs BA is racist!
If the KC Chiefs are still the Chiefs, and the Atlanta Braves are still the Braves, then why are the Cleveland Indians the Guardians and the Washington Redskins the Commanders?
Travis Bazzana.
0-for-3 on the day. No hits in his last 8 at-bats. Bases loaded. Two outs. Down 0-2. Yankees stadium getting loud.
And he clears the bases on 101 MPH low paint.
This is a superstar.
