@prcssloves It's a good thing, I had a lot of frustration trying to scroll through to find one specific post.

@Sasscarella There is also a handful of people who pass misinformation unaware that the information is false. It's crazy to think that social media is powerful in influencing something like perspective on a war.

@Othaliaaa At this point, I'm not sure if Youtube will have a big break. The last time there was a sort of break was with streaming as some Twitch streamers transferred to Youtube. Blatantly copying other mechanics, especially on primarily phone-based applications doesn't seem to do much.

@theevivianlove This feels more like a parenting problem than anything. A 13-year-old should be taught and aware of these dangers. But social media has become so integrated into our lives that it just has this kind of impact on real-life decisions.

Getting a bit tired of seeing social media news in regards to Ukraine.

But I found this, it really shows how influential social media is by giving a spotlight that small businesses need in order to sustain and grow. #csulbmc

@esme_emse_ If it is used for the sole purpose of things like a criminal investigation, then it is fine. Everyone's information is flying around anyway, whether they like it or not.

The absurd amount of influence Social Media has is something to think about when it comes to stances on the war in Ukraine. In some sense, it weaponizes Social Media.

@esme_emse_ Taking away social media is huge. It can cause damage more than it can restore it. The fact that Putin is doing this goes to show how powerful social media and expression on these platforms are.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@ComradeSeB @NBCNews Cutting off social media sites is pretty much double-edged in the modern day. The problem with this on the Russian side is that average citizens are now essentially being censored and surveilled by the Russian Government.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@theevivianlove Good to know that through social media, this kind of issue brings insight and allows people to assist those in need. Though it is a tragedy how the students faced scarcity in resources from being stranded.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@Othaliaaa It's crazy to come to the realization of how many other things happen around the world. Stuff like this is sadly normal in some parts of the world.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@ComradeSeB I don't think this is going to be something insanely relevant as a year passes. But it might find itself home as a form of alternative social media for some people.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@esme_emse_ This type of change is needed. There are a lot of accidental occurrences that can happen with adult content, especially with children. To add on, more security against bots and their generated links needs to be increased to combat some of these issues too.

Meta/Facebook is taking a large plunge in capital and has dropped to the 11th most valuable company across the globe. #csulbsmc

@theevivianlove While people are having negative opinions towards NFTs, years ago cryptocurrency was similarly seen as a joke. In the near future, this may end up being huge for Youtube and other social media platforms.

[Dylan Phavong @DylanP_JOUR104]

@Othaliaaa This is not surprising, Tik Tok has heavily impacted the format of other social media. The endless scroll sort of format also leaves users unable to take their eyes away from the screen.
