@jcalder1983 With the pull type I used to purely because it was the only way to prime the pump before having 300 gal on. But also was gravity fill off the tandem and rinsing jugs in the top of the tank. Zero difference to loading in 10 minutes.
@kowalchukfarms1@rhofford I’m shocked what this will float through. I’ll be testing it when in crop is dry enough to go this year I’m sure. With 750gal of product it’s the same weight as a 4730 empty. And cost half for half the engine hours.
@kperlik I’ve had a couple good shocks. One bad one that my mask and jacket saved me. Trucking is the biggest one for me as saves me needing a trailer yet for one but also saves trips to town for urea. Can run a 350 cart and 2000nh3 and do 80ac fills in wheat.
@NickHorob With conversion to cdn that’s close to what I did in ‘23 however I did all the in floor heat, electrical, and sourcing of supplies myself. Went R60 ceiling and R28 walls
Wrapped! Ended up sooner than expected thanks to 14 hours of sleep over the last 4 days. Big thanks to my dad for taking days off to run harrows and help with field moves. Next step is wait for baby! #plant26
@rhofford On a normal year I try to get a few done day before I start then maybe rip a field every second morning when I don’t need to go for fert. Try to alternate.
All you Viper4+ users, have a used Viper4+ screen we used for 2 years on our Seedmaster SR (comes with wiring harness to isobus plug). What’s new worth? Looking to sell it vs sitting on the shelf. @MYPrecisionAg
Had a quick moment before dark to get dad trained up on his days off on the new toy. I’ll never not love this tractor or the pure sound of a straight piped cat.
@BaldurBarons@rhofford Oh I’m not talking yield lol. I’m talking dragging and burying straw 1/2” that you can’t pull anything if you wanted to. In peat they work better as a box blade. More base in your fields maybe. 2020 here tho you couldn’t pull a 12’ disc behind the 49ers
@trevor17013 Don’t have to venture too far and it’s a whole different world. Just strange this year that all the places with water (with ditches) just won’t dry. Peatland which is most low spots here is also a weird feeling of spinning on frost but without the frost part this spring.
@garrett_wolf3 When gido bought this in early 00’s he was smitten. Used it a lot on summerfallow and getting ready for the 7200s until I bought the air drill in ‘13. Still my budget pro till.
