I pulled up the data for a guy yesterday and he almost cried.
He was running webinars every week and it was working, but that was his only funnel. One source of revenue, one source of leads, one point of failure.
I showed him what it looks like to add a self-liquidating offer.
An $8 course on the front end, a couple of order bumps, two upsells in the back end. You spend money on ads but you break even or close to it. And instead of random leads, you're acquiring buyers.
A buyer who's already transacted with you once is seven times more likely to buy again.
Then on the confirmation page after all the upsells, you drop a calendar and call it a mandatory onboarding call.
70% of people who hit that page book a call with your team.
He looked at the numbers and said: Dylan, why has no one shown me this before?
If you have one funnel working, great. But one funnel is one economic shift away from a bad month.
Add the second one.

Nothing triggers people quite like someone quietly winning. 🤔
You're not being arrogant. You're not rubbing it in. You're just working on yourself, staying consistent, making progress.
And somehow that bothers people.
Here's what I've learned: the people who get uncomfortable watching you grow are the ones who've made peace with standing still.
Your progress is a mirror they didn't ask to look into.
So keep going. Keep getting healthier, wealthier, and more intentional about who you're becoming💪.
The right people will be inspired by it.

Most business owners can't sell their company even if they wanted to.
I've sold two businesses in the last 24 months and here's what I learned going through the process of listing a company for millions — brokers and buyers don't care about your revenue. They care about three things.
1️⃣ - founder dependency. If the business can't run without you, it's not a business. It's a job. Build systems that effectively remove you from the equation before you even think about an exit.
2️⃣ — who's the face? Personal brands are powerful for growth but dangerous for exits. If you're in every ad and taking every sales call, a buyer isn't acquiring a company. They're acquiring you.
3️⃣ — your systems. How do you acquire customers? What's their lifetime value? Where do they come from? Most businesses can't answer these questions clearly. Which means most businesses are worth nothing on paper.
Build for the exit from day one.

Everyone has a great idea. 💭
The guy at the coffee shop. ☕ Your cousin who "thought of that first." 🤷♂️ That person who's been "planning" for three years. 📅
Ideas are free. They're everywhere.
What's rare is actually doing something with one.
The market doesn't care how good your idea is in your head. It only responds to what you ship.
An imperfect idea in the market is worth more than a perfect one sitting in your notes app. It's getting feedback. It's making money. It's actually helping people.
While most people are still polishing, someone else is already on version 3.
Execution is the only thing that separates the two.
So what's one idea you've been sitting on that you could actually move on this week? 👇

Client five minutes ago: "I'm so excited, let's do this."
Client now: somewhere in the Gulf of Alaska with no cell service 😂
If you've ever tried to close a client and watched them disappear the second the contract hit their inbox, this one's for you.
This is what closing clients in a marketing agency actually looks like. No one talks about the ghost phase between the verbal yes and the signed agreement.

Which one are you? Operator or CEO? 🤔
Most people are working harder than ever and wondering why the business isn't growing faster.
It's not the hours. It's the lens.
There are two ways to run a business:
The operator wakes up and asks "what do I need to do today?"
The CEO wakes up and asks "what needs to stop happening forever?"
One keeps you busy. The other builds something that runs without you.
Same calendar. Same 24 hours. Completely different trajectory.
The shift isn't about doing more. It's about thinking at a higher level than the problem in front of you.🧠
Swipe through and be honest with yourself about which one you are right now 👉

Jason Fladlien closes $100M webinars in 60 minutes. His secret weapon isn't a framework.
It's gratitude.
He was walking through Tahoe, took a break from writing his book, and got hit with overwhelming gratitude for the moment he's in.
Not for what he's built. For the opportunity to explore where it's all going.
When he operates in that frequency — that's when he's at his best.
That's not a motivational concept. That's a performance strategy.

Everyone's copying the Mona Lisa.
Jason Fladlien has watched the industry take his frameworks, water them down, and sell them back to people for years. His response isn't bitterness — it's this.
Success isn't about adding more. It's about removing what's in the way.
Michelangelo didn't add anything to a marble slab to create the Statue of David. He removed everything that wasn't it.
That's how Jason looks at business. Strip out the ways you can screw it up and success becomes inevitable.

Most people are adding their way to failure.
More offers →More platforms →More ideas → More noise
And then they wonder why nothing works. 🤷♂️
Here’s what actually happens at higher levels:
Every successful operator I know did the opposite.
They removed:
- Distractions
- Low-value clients
- Unnecessary offers
- Anything that didn’t compound
Until only the highest-leverage actions were left. 🎯
That’s when growth accelerates.
Because focus scales. Complexity stalls.
The truth is:
Success isn’t built by doing more.
It’s revealed by cutting what doesn’t matter.
So if you feel stuck right now…
Don’t ask: “What should I add?”
Ask: “What should I eliminate immediately?” ✂️
That answer is usually where your next level is.
What’s one thing you know you need to cut? 👇

No ambition. No direction. No way out.
Then he became a monk. Then a rapper. Then quietly, the most copied marketer in the industry.

Do this for 90 days and your business will look completely different 👀
Two campaigns. That’s the whole system.
One for testing. One for proven winners. 80% of your budget goes to what’s already working. 20% goes to finding the next winner.
Every week, pick one day to shoot creatives. Three hooks, three bodies, three calls to action. Mix and match them and you walk away with nine variations from one shoot.
Drop them into Meta. Let it run. At the end of the week, move the winners into the proven campaign.
Repeat for 90 days.
Most people either test everything or scale nothing. This system does both at the same time without burning your budget on guesswork.
90 days. That’s all it takes.

What if Meta paid for your ads?
That’s not a hypothetical. It’s called a self-liquidating offer and it’s one of the most underused strategies in paid advertising.
Here’s how it works.
You sell a low-ticket product: $7.99 mini course, $49 guide, anything with a clear entry point.
Stack a couple of order bumps behind it and your average order value jumps.
Now you’re asking Meta one question: can you find me buyers for less than my average order value?
If yes, your ads pay for themselves.
Christian Osgood runs Multifamily Strategy. Was doing well on DM closes alone. Added webinars, picked up an extra $60k a month.
Then added a $7.99 mini course called Get Your First Property. Average order value now sits above $100.
The ad spend funds itself. Every client acquired on top of that is pure upside.
You don’t have to choose between selling information and getting clients. You can do both with the same funnel.

Bragging about $3 leads is like bragging about hiring someone for free who doesn't show up to work.
Spent over $250k on a funnel getting leads for $1.28 each. Sounds incredible until the sales team calls and realizes nobody on the other end can actually buy anything.
Cheap leads don't close. They just make your cost per lead look pretty while your revenue flatlines.
Here's how you actually optimize a campaign: you start with cost per click, then cost per lead, then cost per qualified lead, then cost per booked call, cost per showed call, cost per qualified prospect, and finally cost per sale.
That's the funnel. That's how you go from $3 toothless leads to a real business.
Next time someone brags about their $1.25 leads, ask them one question — did the leads have all their teeth?

I know coaches making $100k a month who aren't that smart. And I mean that with love.
They're not smarter. They're not more talented. They just know the playbook and they follow it.
Here it is in three steps.
First: rethink what you sell. "I help entrepreneurs grow" is not a niche. You need a specific person, a specific problem, and a specific pathway. Without that you look like everyone else selling the same solution.
Second: one traffic source, one funnel. Prove it works in 30 days before you add anything else. Doesn't work? Pivot. But start with one. The second you try to run five things at once you've already lost.
Third: one conversion mechanism. A sales call, a webinar, a DM sequence. Pick how you're going to turn the people in your ecosystem into buyers and master that before touching anything else.
That's the whole playbook.
Complication isn't progress, it just tricks you into feeling productive while nothing moves.
Drop the complexity. Follow the steps.

This simple comparison will save you more time than ever.
Most entrepreneurs are broke on time.
Not because they don't have enough hours,
But because they spend it like it's unlimited. ♾️
They attend pointless meetings.
They scroll instead of execute.
They say yes to everything.
And they wonder why they're stuck.
Time and attention are currencies.
The moment you realize this, everything changes.
Every meeting, conversation and task becomes an investment.
And just like money, you need to ask:
"Is this worth what I'm paying?"
Here's the only thing that can save you:
Treat your time like your most expensive resource.
Because once it's gone, you can NEVER buy it back. ⌛
Would you spend $500 on that meeting?
Would you invest $200 in that DM conversation?
If not, why are you giving away your time for free?
Start auditing where your hours go.
Then ruthlessly cut what doesn't serve you.
That's how you build wealth in time and money.

"Would you be totally opposed to signing up today?" is the cheesiest close in sales.
Just left the Negotiation Mastery Summit with Chris Voss and the Black Swan Group with roaswithnate and this was the biggest room I've been in a while.
Being in the room with them now is still hard to process.
But the biggest takeaway wasn't a new tactic. It was this. A skill isn't a line you memorize. It's something you actually embody.
The second you run a scripted close on someone who's paying attention, they feel it. Game over.
The best negotiators aren't running plays. They're reading people.

People love to say…
‘The market is too saturated.’
But that’s not true.
What’s actually happening is this:
You’re scrolling past hundreds of people
doing the exact same average thing.
And your brain goes…
‘Yeah, it’s crowded.’
But look closer.
How many of them are actually GREAT?
Very few.
And those few?
They’re not struggling for clients.
They’re choosing them.
Saturation isn’t the issue.
Standing out is.
Most people come to me asking how to run paid ads before they've figured out the one thing that actually matters: what they're selling and who they're selling it to.
Paid ads are just a traffic source.
Facebook, organic, a guy with a sign on the street: it's all the same.
The traffic isn't the problem. Where it lands is.
In this video, I broke down why running ads before your offer is dialed in is the fastest way to burn your budget and get zero results, and what you need to nail down first before spending a single dollar.
If you're thinking about starting paid ads, watch this first.

Most entrepreneurs confuse being busy with being profitable. 🤦♂️
Let me break this down...
Busy looks like:
1) Responding to every DM
2) Taking every call
3) Chasing every opportunity
4) Saying yes because you're afraid of missing out
Profitable looks like:
1) Protecting your focus like you protect your revenue
2) Saying no to distractions
3) Doubling down on what actually moves the needle
4) Having boundaries that keep chaos out
Here's what most people miss:
Your calendar should reflect your priorities. 📅
Not your inability to set boundaries.
If your day is packed but your bank account isn't growing... 💸
You're not busy. You're distracted. 💭
The fastest way to increase profit?
Cut everything that doesn't directly contribute to revenue.
Stop attending meetings that could be emails.
Stop entertaining "pick your brain" calls.
Stop saying yes to projects that drain your energy.
Protect your time like it's your most valuable asset.
Because it is.
