West Mesquite Standouts: 🟠⚫️⬇️

2027 G Se’majai Jordan was making winning plays all throughout the game. Hit multiple threes, used his speed to constantly blow by defenders to finish at the basket, and played through contact well. Also is a scrappy defender. @24golive_

2027 G Darreon Moore is a strong guard who used his strength to get to his spots to score around the basket. Also used crafty moves to get in the paint and collapse the defense to create offense for himself or his team. He has good footwork, and had a good pump fake mid range pull up. @Darreonmoore23

2027 Wing Jorden Givens was doing about everything for West Mesquite, spaced the floor well to hit multiple threes, made the right passes in transition and the half court, and was aggressive on the glass converting on a couple put back layups after getting the offensive board. Hit a long two to go up 10 with a minute left to stop Reedy’s momentum and seal the win. @JordenGivens

2026 G Braylon McGee displayed his ability to hit mid range jumpers, hitting 4 jump shots in the mid range. Has quick instincts and good lateral quickness on both ends of the floor. @braylon_mcgee

2027 Point Guard Dylan Morris is lead guard with a high IQ who excels at getting his teammates involved with accurate passes. Got a couple steals and turned them into assists on the fast break, made some tough turn around jumpers, and controlled the offense for his team. @dylmor0

2026 Wing/F Kai Johnson showed a good versatile skill set throughout the game. Ran the floor well and positioned himself in the best spots to score at the rim, had a fade away jumper, a chase down block, and multiple smart passes and cuts. @kjtooshifty

2026 G Joshua Johnson got hot scoring the ball in the 2nd half. Converted on pull up threes, made tough jumpers in the mid range, and used his handle to break down defenders to get the basket and finish through contact. @JoshLJohnson04
