“You’re more likely to lose your job to someone who is using AI, than to AI itself...”
Rishi Sunak speaks to @faisalislam about how AI could impact jobs, with the former PM saying the “best protection” is to have a “competence and confidence using these new tools.”

The media have given Leo Varadkar’s rural Ireland comments way too much attention this week. He’s not in charge anymore - move on.
As for Fine Gael TDs getting upset about it. Again, he’s not the party leader, so stop giving it such thought.

He asks President Connolly to watch her language yet the only one being rude was him.
“You are in our country” is a really stupid and divisive thing to say to the President of Ireland.
It’s not how you treat people and it’s certainly not how you build bridges.
The DUP's Gregory Campbell has told the Irish President 'you are in our country' during her visit to Londonderry.
In a short meeting the MP also challenged President Connolly on what he described as her imbalanced address for only referring to the city as Derry.
In their interaction, the President said she is 'here to listen' but Mr Campbell warned her not to rewrite history.
Have these Tory defectors no shame?
And Farage claiming he needs them “because of his lack of government experience” is a bizarre line to take considering he torches the Tories recent government record at every opportunity.
It’s only “tongue in cheek” because Martinez had Haaland in his back pocket all game. Everyone on this podcast proved over the last week how silly they all are - Butt and Scholes look stupid before the game and even worse after.

The SocDems have spent all year hounding out one of their own TDs for how he made his living prior to being elected.
A certain glass house analogy comes to mind. #Aras25
People Before Profit – Solidarity’s Ruth Coppinger spent the most money of any candidate elected at the last general election – a massive €46,186.
Sinn Féin's Dessie Ellis retained his seat by spending just €4,807 - the lowest of any elected candidate.

Alan Kelly is right that Connolly is now using the ‘smear campaign line’ as a tactic to avoid hard questions and scrutiny. It’s clever political comms.
If Fine Gael really wanted to smear Connolly, they could and very effectively. There’s plenty of material to work with. #Aras25
🗣️ "I was doubly hit by the violence of the language — ‘smear the bejesus out of her.’” @catherinegalway responds to comments by former Labour leader Alan Kelly suggesting a Fine Gael smear campaign would suit her.
