It’s absolutely wild to me that we’re pretending that the higher than average number of respiratory tract infections and the pandemic of adults with pneumonia this year is not a warning sign of immune impairment. This is literally how immunodeficiency would present.

I was given subpar treatment by a doctor today because I asked him to wear a mask. Masks are still mandated by law in clinical spaces here, he had cold symptoms, and I am immunodeficient. He didn't even have a mask available to put on, he had to ask the front desk for one.

@commaficionado Divergent is only referring to different than the norm / what the world is built for. TBIs are in there. Brain fog is in there. #LongCovid is in there. Any mind which diverges from the minds we are (society is) catering to, hoping to produce, prefering/privileging etc.
