This elderly hamster is 5 years old the equivalent of 175 human years.
The tiny survivor has amazed the internet with its long life and adorable spirit. Experts say hamsters rarely live past 3, making this little one a true miracle of love and care.
Deep in the central mountains of Japan is the ruins of a failed resort development project. This restaurant was only opened once before the whole thing went backrupt.

A few years ago, some friends and I went on a tour of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. The tour was cut short due to heat, but I could see the places that were on my list.

I tried taking more photos in a couple other posts. I recently broke my GB Camera though, so these photography days are probably done.
Visiting an old temple not far from Takayama in the Japanese mountains. It is hidden from the main road by a forest and a mountain, so it's mostly been forgotten.

An 89-year-old man was reportedly causing trouble at a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Japan. When a woman tried to warn him, he bit her.
Police arrested him. As they were driving him away, he stopped talking. He was confirmed dead at a hospital.
More photos of Cherry Blossom trees from around Takayama. These are from years ago, but they should begin blooming this year in the next week.
