We are writing you with heavy hearts to let you know we are closing the Dayton Chapter of Girl Develop It. This means that no new events or classes will be organized under the GDI Dayton name by the current leadership.
Our next event is August 27th at 6pm Processing Large Data with Python Pandas https://t.co/ybVwaVENa2 #Meetup#Dayton. Let's learn about Python and Pandas together. #python#pandas
A big thank you to @hearsparkbox for sponsoring our first Front End Lab tonight and allowing us to use their lovely @brworkshop space.
If you haven't heard, they have a fantastic Maker Series event coming up soon!

DCT now has a speaker interest form! We'd love to showcase more women in and around our local tech space and are working to set up some ongoing short and long-form talks. If you are currently, or are considering becoming, a public speaker let us know!

We're looking for some volunteers! If you'd be interested in helping build a supportive community for women and non-binary people in tech in Dayton, please take a couple of minutes to fill out this form and let us know how you'd be willing to help! https://t.co/Ht0m8wuAJW
Also: I’m looking for someone to co-host these types of talk events so we can keep them going in the future. Please reach out if you’re interested in volunteering!
Hey #Dayton, I’m looking for (people who identify as) women in tech who are interested in speaking on Vue, Angular, or React. I am planning a meetup with @dytcodetogether focusing on front end frameworks. Talks will be 15ish minutes with a group Q&A at the end. Msg me to chat!
Thank you for making the GDI Dayton community the welcoming, supportive group that it has been. We are so excited for all of us as we move into this next chapter.
As of the end of this month, all of the Chapter Leaders for GDI Dayton will have stepped down and the organization will not be having any more events or classes. However, we do not want to leave our amazing community here in Dayton without a home.
We would also encourage you, once you join the new group, to leave the GDI group(s) on meetup, as those membership numbers are how GDI National determines "membership" numbers used for fundraising. As always, it is your individual choice to participate or not as you'd like!
