@BowlOfSpagooter@Neogears1312@neoizzyfishii@AdriWindGB Him being an incompetent pilot is like. Half of his characterization in 64. Literally a plot point for one of the level transitions. He's kinda dumb, like I mean literally the first thing he does is get into trouble and needs saving
It's so blatantly obvious that none of these people defending the remake have actually played the original. There's a reason they're showing pictures of buildings and not character models.
I was wondering why the Meteo Crusher boss wasn't hitting as hard as it did on the N64.
Then it dawned on me: timing.
Little things like the timing of the end of his line coinciding with the attack starting makes a world of difference.
Food for thought #StarFox
@TNOQuoProQuid This Rube Goldberg explanation honestly makes the whale innocent in my eyes. Maybe makes whatever happens to for the guy to escape it less justifiable.
Depends which is heavier on the human-whale life value scale.
@TNOQuoProQuid About half way into jaws I had decided it must be either possessed or maybe a pure manifestation of the concept of evil. A creature who's purpose is to cause supernatural harm. It damaged the perception of sharks, but those in the know will understand, that shark had to die.
Yeah man they've made like a ton of knockout big money games for the switch 2 that are well received but I guess culture is ending because there's a game that exists that you can choose to not play
I can't remember who said it, but the OCARINA OF TIME remake announcement proves it right yet again: tough luck if you want to see big money going into new, original media – you're stuck in a 1980–2000 nostalgia prison for the time being.
This only happens because you and everyone else has been taught how to play D&D wrong. The correct order of operations is declaring what you want to do, rolling, and then role-playing the result of the roll. Your example proves why the other way around is a manifestly bad idea.
Dislike the name but it's looks like Shadow of the Colossus and Last guardian had a kid where you gotta command a mech while spidering around outside to attack the other robot directly. Only guy to do it like this
This segment is exactly as interactive as the Mixtape shopping cart scene, except here the lack of mechanical friction is at odds with the tone of the moment instead of supporting it.
@v0xsul@TQueimafo I mean one assumes the point is charlie goes to hell because he was only superficially good.
It's also really funny to imagine it really WAS just a clerical error.
@v0xsul@TQueimafo There's an official THD sequel to Charlie's inferno and it touches that removing his punishment takes away the bite.
Idk since the original song is already a critique on people who act righteous but aren't, doing "but what if hell is epic?!" kinda misses the point imo
Strange meme but I'm glad if it causes more THD listeners. It's funny cause, as Charlie's inferno was already his most popular song. He recently released a direct sequel. Like any modern retelling it's a meta breakdown of the original song and sequels and remakes as a whole.
