Families and friendship circles separated because so many people had to leave just to be able to afford comfortable lives.

Some individuals at the University of Ghana, have accused the incumbent MP of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Madam Lydia Alhassan of deploying military personnel to harass them, after they allegedly discovered an illegal ballot printing at the SRC Union Building.
Since I began calling out corruption and exposing this government’s catastrophic economic mismanagement, I have faced relentless attacks. I’ve been harassed and assaulted by police, targeted by tax authorities, had my business interests undermined, and endured threats to my safety and livelihood. Now, they have stooped even lower—canceling my speaking engagement in a blatant attempt to silence me and undermine academic freedom.
To those in power who are threatened by my voice: I WILL NOT BE SILENCED. No amount of harassment, intimidation, or cowardly censorship will stop me from speaking truth to power. Your actions reveal your fear and your failure.
Ghana’s democracy deserves better. Our institutions must be free from political interference. And I will continue to fight for truth, accountability, and justice—no matter the cost. Your fear only fuels my resolve. The people of Ghana will prevail!!!
