Together with Minister @sjafriesjams, we co-chaired the 10th Indonesia–Australia Foreign and Defence Ministers’ 2+2 Meeting with Foreign Minister @SenatorWong and Defence Minister @RichardMarlesMP (26/8).

We exchanged views on a wide range of issues of common interests, including translating the Jakarta Treaty into concrete action, while strengthening our cooperation to build a more resilient region.

Minister Wong and I also signed the MoU on Trilateral Cooperation with Pacific Island Countries, underscoring disaster risk management and humanitarian response among the key areas of cooperation.

Our shared commitment to good neighbourly relations will continue to guide and strengthen the Indonesia–Australia partnership 🇦🇺🤝🇮🇩

As a key partner in the Pacific, New Zealand holds an important place in Indonesia's regional engagement.

In my meeting with FM Winston Peters in Manila (@NewZealandMFA) (23/7), we agreed to deepen our strategic cooperation, including in defence.

I also welcomed New Zealand's readiness to support Indonesia's nutrition and food security programmes.

As close neighbours, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea continue to strengthen the enduring partnership for the benefit of our peoples and the region.

Foreign Minister Justin Tkatchenko of 🇵🇬 and I met at the sidelines of the 59th AMM/PMC in Manila (24/7). We discussed ways to advance our shared priorities in defence, border management, development, and education.

In Manila (22/7), I had a productive meeting with Palestinian Minister of Social Development Dr. Samah Hamad to discuss humanitarian relief, recovery, and closer cooperation in social development.

Indonesia and the Republic of Korea are key partners in strategic cooperation.

At a meeting with @FMChoHyun of Republic of Korea in Manila (22/7), I encouraged concrete follow-up on our Leaders' commitments, from strategic dialogues to forward-looking cooperation in technology, energy, industry, and the creative economy.

Co-chairing the ASEAN-Australia Post-Ministerial Conference (22/7) together with @SenatorWong. We emphasized the need to work together to strengthen our region’s resilience amid growing uncertainty.

Indonesia also called for greater cooperation in maritime, trade, energy security, and people-to-people ties.

Anchored in ASEAN Centrality, our partnership can contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

Dalam kunjungan kenegaraan ke Australia, saya bersama Perdana Menteri Australia, @AlboMP, telah menyepakati perjanjian bilateral di bidang keamanan antara kedua negara.

Melalui keterangan pers bersama di Kapal HMAS Canberra, kami menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kerja sama Indonesia–Australia yang berlandaskan persahabatan, kepercayaan, saling menghormati, serta komitmen bersama untuk menjunjung tinggi perdamaian.

Ke depan, Indonesia dan Australia akan terus melaksanakan konsultasi secara berkala mengenai isu-isu keamanan, sekaligus memperkuat koordinasi dan latihan bersama guna menjaga stabilitas kawasan serta meningkatkan ketahanan regional.

President Prabowo had a bilateral meeting with Governor-General Sam Mostyn (12/12), discussing the progress of the Indonesia–Australia partnership and ways to further strengthen it, particularly in education, the promotion of the Indonesian language in Australia, and cultural cooperation. President Prabowo also extended an invitation to the Governor-General to visit Indonesia.
