Blooms of hope: the gardening groups delivering smiles during lockdown - this was such a lovely piece to research and write. Thank you to @thewonkygarden@e17inbloom@The_RHS and Holt community gardeners https://t.co/hF2fSbvePX
The @hmprimary Community Garden had become overgrown with brambles, nettles and weeds during lock-down. We weeded and tidied it so the pupils, in their "bubbles" can use it again as an outdoor classroom. Y5 made us lovely plans to show what has been planted and where.
BEE17 has just donated 4000 Crocus 'Ruby Giant' corms purchased via @The_RHS Britain in Bloom and @rotaryintl initiative #Purple4Polio to be planted around the village by @e17inbloom. Helping the local pollinators in #E17#Walthamstow 🐝 🐝 🐝
