@janeluve_ And from that perspective Batman makes more sense since it’s very much the book minting new comic fans. It really sucks for WW fans bc we’re starving for anything good outside of this book, but I think DC is afraid of potential backlash this adaptation specifically might create.

@M0BILESUITZER0 I genuinely hope marvel starts to cool it with events somewhat and lets their actual books breathe somewhat. I just want events in marvel to feel like they matter and not just some obligatory derailing of books every 4/5 months to drive hype.

KLH clears so fucking easy, and I genuinely think you can only have this opinion if you haven’t read any good Spider-man stuff.

@_Foreverheroics I mean on this point, the issues are really damn dense and cover a ton of ground (arguably maybe even a little too much), they could easily fill out the first 6 issues into a 8-10 episode season without needing to add too much, maybe even working in 7-8 to tease bane in S2

@stevemorris__ I mean this can work if the candidate has strong beliefs and is willing to talk about them. McMorrow doing this failed because it laid bare how vapid her campaign is, this probably won’t backfire in a similar manner
