Check out my Raid Chronicle to see my journey through Teleria so far - including some of my greatest Raid achievements. https://t.co/86i7MyjuEb #Raid5thAnniversary
Azul: Queen's Garden: 3/3 first play w/ Michael and Meghan (winner). I like the Azul games and I always feel like I do well. I may be unrealistic about my skill level. #spielbound
Nova Luna: 1/3 w/ Meghan and Michael. I won pretty easily. I like this game, but I don't know if M&M do, so I'll enjoy getting to play when I can. #spielbound
Decorum: first play, win w/ Michael and Meghan. I very much enjoyed this game, but I don't know about the replayability of it. We did have fun with our opinions about each other's decorating. #spielbound
Pass the Pigs - Big Pigs: 1/6 win! w/ Elizabeth, Kevin, Marie, Michael, and Merinda. The cuteness factor on this game with the giant foam pigs was off the charts. Unfortunately they bounced too much. (still so cute) #spielbound
Wingspan: 2/5 w/ Merinda/Anne (winners), Kevin, Marie, and Elizabeth. I had 90 points, so it was a good game, just not good enough. Kevin and Marie tied ... how adorable. #spielbound
Wingspan: 2/3 w/ Kevin and Marie (winner). Marie got off to a nice lead and stayed there. Kevin tried a strategy of playing only swallows (this is a Kevin thing, not a real thing) and he was rewarded with an awful score. Kids, learn from Kevin, don't do that.
Foundations of Rome: first two plays, both 4/4 w/ Farmer Corey (both wins), Tz, and @Dr_K. This is the board game equivalent of Benedict Cumberbatch wearing a tradition tuxedo. Elegant, subtle, and oh so beautiful. I don't know if I'll be good at the game, but I liked it a lot.
Alhambra +plus Handyman: 3/5 w/ @BryceAnnJourney (winner), Wiz, Matt, and @Narcissica. Wiz got last play and used it to gain 11 points, take 8 from me, and get 2nd place. This play was about timing and how I didn't have it. Happy birthday to our winner!
Viticulture +Tuscany +Rhine Visitors: 1/4 win! w/ Cessa, Meghan, and Michael. Started way too late in the evening for this combination. For this particular play, I'm not sure Rhine Visitors actually made the game longer.
So Clover: first play, two games. I am disappointed in part because I was so excited to try it. It wasnβt quite βConceptβ level but it did point out how my brain takes a different path to get somewhere, I am different and I feel meh. #Spielbound
Mysterium: Cessa was the ghost, Alyson, George, Grant, and Taylor were the investigators. Cessa did a fine job of giving the clues and making raven noises. It was the final guesses where we failed, except for Ally, she got it right. #Spielbound
Parks w/ Nightfall Expansion: 1/3 Win (on tiebreaker)! w/ Wiz and Cessa. First play with the Nightfall exp. I ended up with gear that gave me a discount on mountains, forests, and sun. Would love to hear about some house rules about flushing the parks on display.
Wingspan w/ all expansions: 1/5 win w/ Wiz, Wayne, Cessa, and Jacquelyn. First play with the Oceania expansion. I used a gold card that netted me 13 points at the end of the game. I finished with 14 of 15 spots filled on my board.
Heckmeck Deluxe: 2 games, 0 wins with Meghan and Jay. The first games was the base rules, the second with the deluxe rules. The expansion either required a lot more thinking or we were VERY tired.
