I'm a long-time web developer turned indie hacker. With 25 years of experience, I now develop WordPress plugins and tools that help web designers do their work.
@mxpppe Thanks for your interest! Updates for the Theme Designer are planned, but not currently in development. I'm currently focusing on other plugins. Just visit https://t.co/ksKrrjuWvE and https://t.co/Wy9OnHvV88 to see what I'm working on.
@mehbubrashid@FriendlyWebGuy I think, at least in Europe, that wouldn't be entirely legal. But I also think many people don't care or aren't aware of it. To me, it's a dark pattern that makes the company seem less reputable. 🤷♂️
I've just started a new project. It's still a work in progress, but you can already see a bit: https://t.co/2eGOoHloRo
Don't hold back if you want to share your opinion 😊

@JorgeMenaDev Partly, I do it for myself to get better data for my plugins. Like the exact number of active installations (not just the rounded numbers found on https://t.co/vx8nmCgAXW). But another relevant goal is to help other people and thereby expand my reach a litte.

@JorgeMenaDev With this project, for example, I can provide more accurate figures on plugin installations. Depending on the available data, I can even determine the exact number of installations. This can help plugin developers with their marketing efforts.
