@CasperAddams // oh my god I'm so sorry, I completely missed this back then and it didn't appear in my mentions?? 🥲

Unbeknownst to most people in London, the stars are very bright tonight. A perfect night to touch up on her charts.

// it's 5am and I got Dot back 🙏

[Dot . ❁ @eIeusinian]

It was her birthday earlier this month, but she chose to take a few days off and spend it with her family. It’s not as calm as it used to be, back home, but she was happy to see her sisters.

Playing music in her office thanks to the radio Oscar gifted her.

@MsMarieIverson — speaking to Marie; and so, she stops.

“Yes, that would be lovely. Please.“

She stands still, joining her hands.

“Have you... lived here long?“ she asks after a pause, in a sheepish attempt at making conversation.

Even though Dot came to dread this moment, her task is also too important for her to delay it at all. Plus, she now knows where to find Marie. Office of Misinformation. It's not a part of the Ministry she visits often, despite having worked with many --

@MsMarieIverson Dot dusts off her dress, stepping further into the room. She has a quick look around the room. Spotting small hints of what Marie’s life is like. Picture frames. What books are out of the bookshelves. Spending too long looking almost feels like intruding, after so long not —

@brightlysight — to her sister talk about it. It’s nice to hear her speak about something that makes her happy.

[Dot . ❁ @eIeusinian]

@brightlysight — sets it in front of her, and let’s her know it’s there.

She has many stories herself, about her first attempts at spell-making. She doesn’t believe she got along with her teachers as well as Alice did; a lot of her attempts were on her own. For now, she would rather —

@Unspeakxble Not always, yes! And nothing a spell cannot solve, thankfully.

Warm drinks and wearing coats! Snow! What is there not to love about winter?

@Unspeakxble Just as she’s about to leave for work today, the owl reaches Dot and drops Adda’s letter in her hands.

The message, even if short, brings her joy for the day.

Dot writes her answer as soon as she reaches her office.

« Adda,

That is great news! Do let me know -
