The National Year of Reading recognises that reading has evolved: it meets us where we are, opening up new ways for our children to connect with, and explore what they already love ✨ #GoAllIn2026
This #NationalYearOfReading2026, the National Literacy Trust's annual primary conference, delivered in partnership with The British Library, is a beautiful opportunity to #GoAllIn as educators. I am beyond privileged to be speaking with Martin Galway @GalwayMr at this event ✨
The conference themes will explore how primary schools can harness multi-modal forms of reading - such as lyrics, films, digital tools and more - to help young learners develop the will and skill of reading.
Let's reimagine what reading can look like - and who it can reach.
