We’re excited to be part of a newly formed consortium with CMA CGM, @CargoXio, @ICE_Markets, and SGTraDex - a group of global leaders in trade digitalization - working together to enable interoperability of electronic Bills of Lading (#eBL) across platforms.

This collaboration, built on the TradeTrust framework developed by IMDA Singapore, marks a significant step toward scalable, legally-recognized, and secure digital trade flows.

At eTEU, our role in the consortium focuses on a critical goal:

🔑 Leveraging blockchain-based eBLs to unlock liquidity for shippers, enabling faster, more affordable access to trade finance.

The consortium will:

✅ Explore legal, technical, and business feasibility for cross-platform eBL exchange
✅ Conduct pilot trials aligned with #UNCITRAL’s Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records (#MLETR)
✅ Establish the foundations of a truly interoperable, paperless trade ecosystem

This is not just about replacing paper - it’s about building the infrastructure for a fairer, faster, and more inclusive global trade system.
