A member of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America, he has served as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 36th district since 2021, representing the Queens neighborhood of Astoria.

Mamdani was born in Kampala, Uganda, to academic Mahmood Mamdani and filmmaker Mira Nair, both of whom are of Indian descent.

After spending three years in Cape Town, South Africa, when Mamdani was five to seven years old, the family moved to the United States, settling in New York.

Mamdani graduated from the Bronx High School of Science before receiving a bachelor's degree with a major in Africana studies from Bowdoin College in 2014.

Whereas, Zohran is merely 34 years old, NIGERIANS OF HIS AGE-GROUP are forced to become iPad/Data boys, paid to defend their own oppressors.

Zohran is in an opposition to Donald J. Trump, and in fact, the President of the US actually campaigned against him, but the unbiased electoral system of America, which Trump upholds allows FREE, FAIR & CREDIBLE elections - the reason Zohran won his election fair and squarely.

If he had tried his House of Assembly elections at his young age in Nigeria, he would not smell a distant last because the system is corrupt and warped to favour the highest bidder and the dictates of one man.

Nigeria needs a total reset, and a new idea based on JUSTICE, EQUITY & FAIRNESS.
