Big congratulations to @e_badgerhanson who successfully defended her Masters and became a PhD candidate yesterday! Her work examines how prairie management choices influence soil microbial communities and carbon cycling. Her talk is here: https://t.co/42NEtFZwD2
Congratulations! to @e_badgerhanson on her first publication, which reviews microbially focused restoration strategies in tallgrass prairies, with a focus on how this is both urgent and complicated in the face of climate change. https://t.co/oq8capyGZy

Husband (deadpans): "Is it a graph?"
Me: "Um . . . well yes it is."
Spread the word & RT! We are hosting a virtual career panel Feb 8 with an amazing group of federal, non-profit, & academic female soil scientists!! Use this link to register! https://t.co/0JgLD4b0qb
Pleasantly surprised to see this on the UN stand at COP. Long overdue recognition that grasslands play a massive part when it comes to carbon storage. After speaking to those on the stand there was clear acceptance that proper grazing management has a vital role. About time.
@Mikeropod I had heard that - isn't that funny? They're both so well-matched to their roles! That's one of the reasons I like the show so much, both leads are really strong. (Also, one of the best adaptations of a book I've ever seen!!) Thanks, hope you are well too!
Things that are currently getting me through this busy semester:
1) My husband reminding me to do human things like eat
2) Writing to folklore on repeat
3) Watching Good Omens, a little, as a treat (is 4 times in 2 months too much??)

@DrDocherty challenged @smith_chr1stian and I to put together a poster in 30min and I think it turned out pretty well!
