☂️ Showers on and off through midweek before a sunnier, drier stretch settles in later this week and weekend.
Today won’t be a washout, but expect a couple rounds of showers and maybe an afternoon thunderstorm as temperatures climb into the 70s.
🌦️ Tuesday: More clouds, scattered showers/storms possible
⛈️ Wednesday: Warm near 80 with a better chance of storms, some potentially intense
☀️ Thursday into the weekend: Looking much nicer with lower humidity, sunshine and highs mainly in the 70s
Today’s daily digit: 4/10 — not chilly, but the intermittent rain will be annoying for outdoor plans.

The worst thing after a successful Boko Haram attack on Chadian troops is a Nigerian fisherman, who always seem to suffer the worst response from Chadian counterattacks. But what does it say about ANT capacity?? https://t.co/jcTOJDvLCr
NEW: The $150 billion Armed Services Committees plan for budget reconciliation would provide billions for the first space-based antimissile interceptors, go all-in on a sea-launched nuclear cruise missile, order more major warships—and then some.
This proposed elimination of the State Dept Africa Bureau gives the best inside look into the Trump Administrations view on their interests in Africa: fighting terrorists, extracting minerals, preventing pandemics from crossing the Atlantic, and all else is a "temporary" interest
JUST IN: The Trump administration is asking SCOTUS to immediately block a lower court’s midnight deadline to pay $2 billion in invoices for foreign aid work done by State Departments/USAID contractors. https://t.co/REN8mD5esv
The Administration’s decision to abruptly end their review of foreign assistance and gut thousands of programs undermines our ability to win against our rivals and protect our security, prosperity, and standing in the world. ⬇️

For decades, USAID has helped the U.S. lead on the world stage by promoting food security, global health, economic prosperity, and democratic governance.
We must boost government efficiency while continuing to show up and engage abroad as the partner of choice.
USAID's https://t.co/AgfgVXvOVf website - a resource that offers detailed data on USG $$ by country and progam (going back more than a decade) is down. Needless to say, this is a critical resource to those of us working in this space.

In Senator Rubio's confirmation this week to be the next Secretary of State was this very important exchange on #Sudan that gives, perhaps, some window into how he might approach the genocide there, including speaking frankly and openly about the role of outside powers. Listen!
