At this point prices in The UK are just made up:
What do you mean a return train to London is £140?
How is a weekend away in England £600? I can go abroad for a week for that!
Why is a house that was £700 a month a few years ago now £1500 a month?
How is a full tank of fuel now costing more than £100?
Why is my car insurance going up every year on the same car with no claims?
How is 2 carrier bags of shopping costing me nearly £100?
We're honestly done aren't we.

This is getting scaled for mass use.
@basbitsudania It’s just control. I looked up why travel costs more within the city than in and out the city, something about the city needing to keep control of flow of travellers to maintain the cost of running the city. Flawed system. We pay for it so those who designed it don’t offer a fix.
My "Roman Empire is the realization that my life is a lottery win. Somewhere in Sudan, Pålestine, iran, Afghanistan, Iraq or Congo, there is a boy smarter than me. He is more disciplined, more resilient, and holds more potential in his single finger than I do in my entire career.
The only difference? I am siting in a train and he is sting in the rubble of his dreams.
My "bad days" are his wildest dreams.
My "burnout" is a luxury he can't afford because his only job is staying alive.
It's geographical luck and it's a haunting injustice that we all refuse to acknowledge and look away
No matter how high they make the cost of living, we just keep adapting, instead of resisting. That’s when you know you’ve succumbed to the machine, because despite knowing it’ll destroy us, we keep it going.
tax in the uk is basically a monthly subscription you can’t cancel to a product that never works. like paying for netflix except the movies don’t play and 5 strangers are streaming on your account for free. try to leave and they send you a threatening letter. world class service
