Starting a business can feel impossible. But if you put the blinders, look down from the horizon, break it down into bite sized chunks and focus on what’s actionable, it is quite possible. It’s still gonna be scary, that’s the signal you’re actually building something worthwhile.
Who's got ADD tendencies ✋
If you haven't used Notion, check it out. It has been a game changer to help me manage, not only my business and projects, but life in general.
And if you're type A (like my wife) you'll especially love it.
Always a bit of a shock how quick the fall is compared to the climb.
Just gotta remember each time back up, you get a little stronger.
And strong climbs turn into fast climbs.
Mondays aren’t about giant leaps.
They’re about stacking small wins and gaining momentum. A couple bricks today lays the foundation for tomorrow and the rest of the week.
Get to stackin'!
#6 is the sauce. Spent my 20’s thinking people would think I was dumb if I asked questions I thought I should know the answer to. In reality, not asking the question is dumb.
Ask the question. You learn while showing you’re engaged, win-win.
@DanielPriestley talks about a concept of the 'dirt' - industry of old, and the 'cloud' - modern, remote, geographically unbound businesses.
What about the intersection of the two? Clouds water dirt, dirt sprouts🌱💵
That's my current strategy. More to come on this!
Is this real life!?
I've got parts materializing on my 3D printer in the other room while @cursor_ai spins up an app I had a random idea for over here.
Still so surreal sometimes. Feels like Star Trek out here 🛸
@sweatystartup I'll take the optimistic view that AI will help us solve our problems with electricity and further enhance the lives of the masses by offering far more resources and information to the common man than ever before.
Time will tell as always 🤷♂️
@PaulTheLi Working on anything fun?
Was able to spin up pretty dang good landing page for a little side project with a single prompt on GPT-5. Pretty impressed with the output so far.
Have noticed some lag as others have mentioned but we'll see if that improves 🤷♂️
Psyched after watching the GPT-5 launch video. Especially excited for deep reasoning and coding upgrades!
Time to vibe out. Wyd with chat this weekend? 🤙

Most people don’t fail because they picked the wrong thing.
They fail because they never actually start.
Pick something small, do it today, and figure the rest out as you go.
What are you getting into this weekend?
