"It was about this time. I finally concluded that the army if it hadn’t had the ongoing requirement of producing senior officers wouldn’t need good lieutenants, or even good captains at the company level, as long as it had good sergeants."
- Colonel David H. Hackworth (U.S. Army Ret.)
Let me reframe this for you. This is the government questioning the government to see if the government covered up for the government in the Epstein files. Shockingly, the government told the government that the government did nothing wrong.
That which doesn’t unite us must be cast asunder.
Diversity hates adversity.
So be it’s sworn adversary. Forever.
We are Americans. The mutts of the world.
But when the storm comes, we lock shields as one people and dare the heavens to break them.
@KTB_500@CynicalPublius We still haven't figured out how to properly employ FSCs and every time I imagine FSCs in a contested LSCO environment I see Jessica Lynch type scenarios multiplied.
@CynicalPublius We saw this demonstrated during last year's NTC. Drones presented so many problems for those of us who were shaped by COIN for the last 20 years.
Extremely proud of how these young Marines carried themselves at LA Fleet Week. 💚
Find them and recognize them. 🪙
Lady: “I can’t believe nobody here has been to war.”
Marine: “No, ma’am.”
Lady: “How can you be representing war if you haven’t seen war?”
Marine: “We are not representing war. We are representing what you can do for our country and our people.”
Lady: “You can hear my opinion, but I don’t want your opinion.”
Lady: “If you haven’t been to war, that’s why you guys are here. If you were they would’ve never brought you guys here.”
Lady 2: “When you say, ‘What can we do for our country?’ what about the homeless?”
Marines: “Have a nice day.”
Not a single raised voice. Not a single ounce of disrespect. Just young men and women standing in uniform, choosing discipline over anger and honor over ego.
In a world that rewards outrage, they showed restraint.
In a moment designed to provoke them, they answered with dignity.
These Marines may not have seen war yet — and we should pray they never have to — but they already understand sacrifice, service, and what it means to put something greater than themselves first.
That’s the kind of character this country is built on. 🇺🇸
Semper Fi.
We remember the fallen. We live to honor their sacrifice by standing ready to defend this nation, our Constitutional freedoms, and our way of life against all enemies home and abroad. We will not forget you.
Unreal turns 28 today.
Released on May 22, 1998, it was one of the most visually impressive games of its era and helped launch the Unreal Engine into existence.
That engine now powers Fortnite, blockbuster films, architecture, simulation and half the gaming industry.
They shipped a game and accidentally built the infrastructure for modern entertainment.
The campaign to oust Massie was financed by 3 Israel-centric billionaires. Their leader was former IDF soldier Miriam Adelson, who Trump suggested was most loyal to Israel.
Trying to suppress this by screaming "ANTI-SEMITE" is pathetic, and will only produce more backlash:
GOP electeds buck Trump EVERY DAY on immigration, housing, credit card interest, Ukraine, Iran etc Trump not only says nothing but even ENDORSES them
Massie bucks him on Israel, Epstein, and sticking to his long held fiscal beliefs and all of a sudden its time for purity tests
Weak men want dominion over others because it is something they will never have.
Briefly, in war...before we understood what dominion was they thought we wielded true power whenever we looked through our optics, putting our weapon on fire, and making one last decision if our finger was going to pull the trigger.
We looked at men, women, even children through crystal clear 4x magnification and John 8:12 etched onto the sides of our scopes deciding who lived and who died.
Maybe we realized it there in the sands of far off lands when the enemy decided they get to interject their opinion on the matter, but there was no dominion in war.
Or perhaps we didn't realize it until we got home, years later.
Eventually, however, we realized the only dominion we need is that over ourselves.
The true "superior" man is content to build a family and a legacy for them; and in that, he will find happiness.
