My mother, a Lawful U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), is stranded at Addis Ababa Airport (@flyethiopian).
Agents denied her boarding under fake health/immigration pretexts and CONFISCATED HER PASSPORT. They are threatening to force her onto a flight to Cameroon against her will!
She holds a valid US Green Card & Cameroonian Passport. Retaining passenger documents is illegal.

Flew with @flyethiopian on flight#ET101 from Mekele, Ethiopia to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 8/25/26 at 8:30am from visiting with my husband parents for 2 weeks.
With leaving out of the Mekele, Ethiopia international airport the lock was popped on my checked bag.
