Or a tulip, tightly folded before it blooms into something much larger & more complex.
Even how your fingers fold effortlessly into a fist.

In each case, complexity is not removed - it’s compressed...

It’s less about doing things faster, and more about doing less work in the first place.
The idea is still a question more than an answer I can provide: Can't we design systems that don’t just process complexity but fold it into something simpler, without losing meaning?
