Flip side: AI narratives are hotter but also more volatile. Execution risk remains higher than established payment networks.

Verdict:

I lean $NEAR.

$XLM is arguably the safer bet for continued RWA and payments adoption, but markets are still paying a premium for AI infrastructure.

With a much smaller market cap and a clear AI-focused roadmap, $NEAR offers the stronger risk/reward profile if AI remains one of crypto's leading narratives.

For stability and institutional adoption: $XLM.

For AI exposure and asymmetric upside: $NEAR.
