‘One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words’ Goethe
Jake Tucker, the founder and president of Innisfil Pride in Canada, was convicted on 7 counts of sex trafficking — but let’s call it what it is: the man was keeping slaves. Tucker, who advertised his victims’ services online, would drug them when they tried to refuse. He is even accused of having tortured one woman with a taser to force her to obey.
In a totally unsurprising twist, Tucker is also a drag queen, and performs under the name of “Anita Goodikyn.” Who could possibly have predicted that a man who mocks and degrades women on stage for kicks would also be willing to abuse women in order to make money?

@RoisinMichaux Interviewee introduced as a ‘lactation consultant trainee’. Is that a thing? Rather assuming that as the last word is ‘trainee’, that’s the status. But ooh, we get the magic word ‘consultant’ first.
Sounds like, an over-claiming of authority going on here???
@Swennes17@nancytsidley British royals don’t any more, it’s only Trump who requires his subjects to these days (or its modern equivalent, give him loads of dosh)
@asokofliverpool@greenspanbsc@gtconway3d For the hard of understanding -when you say ‘most of us’, you ARE CLAIMING to speak on behalf of the entire British nation. Which is why you’re getting challenged.
You’re very welcome to your own opinion, which anyone can agree/disagree with.
If you can’t see the difference🤷🏼♀️
@sally_hines You are still talking about the doctoring doctor here, aren’t you?
The one who ‘knows what contemporaneous means, thank you’?
I suppose I should ask, do YOU know what contemporaneous means? (And why it is of significance in this case?)
@XDetective1@fishingnphoto Oh, she’s given so many different accounts at different times of the same incident (and under oath, in different courts!!!) that you can prove anything, from any one of them.
THE POINT IS, THEY CAN’T ALL BE TRUE. AND IF THEY AREN’T ALL TRUE, NONE OF THEM IS.
@XDetective1@fishingnphoto What, mentioned that at the time she said he ‘punched’ her sister on the stairs his hand was in plaster from the incident in Australia, (because he doesn’t care about pain)?
She never said it, in her many detailed accounts of that particular incident.
Get real
@XDetective1@fishingnphoto That would have been a really good point for AH to have made - wonder why she didn’t mention it, in her very detailed account of the incident. Must have been seared on her memory
@XDetective1@fishingnphoto You really believe AH??? When you look at the timeline, when she testified he grabbed hair with one hand, and was about to punch with the other - HIS HAND WAS IN A BRIGHT GREEN DINOSAUR PLASTER CAST.
So many lies, so many incoherences in them…
@Jaksononfire@AlisonThisTime1@profjmb@Psychgirl211@FondOfBeetles Sometimes men meeting privately means the impact on women of what they’re discussing is not considered (like Yogyakarta, anyone remember that?)
And when the impact on women can be massive, that might just warrant consideration. (Assuming that people think women matter, ofc)
A fact: More than 3,000 people were convicted in the last month of fare dodging
Cases all brought to court by TfL
More could be done, sure
But let's not pretend nothing is done
Also a fact: The last government invented a court system which hides these cases from the public
@michaelpforan Thanks Michael. Not holding my breath waiting for Victoria McCloud’s detailed response seems quite sensible - a person needs oxygen, after all
@Vigdis_Herja@latsot@Glinner I think the visuals tell a different story from the one you’re selling us… seems to specialise in working hard to provoke people, then crying foul when they react. Not actually a wronged little girl, whatever the technical age (and I’ve been seeing similar videos long since)
The trans activist known as Tarquin (Sophie Brooks) trying to intimidate and provoke by disrupting an event and shoving cameras intrusively into people's faces.
@ThomasWillett9 And when the journalist asks them about it, he gets the same.
Can’t imagine why we don’t just see them all as lovely, unthreatening people
Leaving the Riley Gaines event today, trantifa threaten the life of a mainstream journalist on camera.
“Have you thought about dyeing today? Do it. Or someone does it for you.”
Or someone does it for you?
(Yes. I know I misspelled that word.)
@ThomasWillett9 Of course they don’t - they’re all lovely people who like telling OTHER PEOPLE to be kind… (when they’re not telling them they wish they were dead, like these 2, of course)
BREAKING Thread
Tonight:
Watch as a woman walks away from a Riley Gaines event. Hear the abuse hurled at her. I can’t write it out bc it isn’t allowed on here.
See the police walk along allowing it.
