-Remove your children's items & car seat. PLEASE. put them in the trunk or something. Same with other important stuff you keep in the car.

-Keep fabric odorizer (like febreeze) on deck to keep your car's upholstery fresh.

-Change your vent filter thingy often, as well.

-Give you/your car TIME to air out before you leave the vehicle (drive around with windows down) AND crack all 4 windows (just a bit) when you leave to keep the air flowing.
