Under driver only operation they technically don't need a second member of staff on board to operate. With a guard you are guaranteed a second member onboard

@freddiecatmum @ScotRail From age 5 to 15. If traveling with an adult you can add on kids for a quid with a valid adult ticket. Kids for a quid are only available to purchase at a ticket office or on board train.

An historical thing to happen to the people of the Highlands, it drove them from their ancestral homes to bigger cities of the UK and all over the world. Research it and don't be ignorant of history

@MelvinSlop @ScotNational The Highland clearances wasn't thousands of years ago. It happened in 1750-1860. Its an important part of Scottish history. People were essentially forcefully removed from their homes and livelihood to make way for sheep farming. Destroyed large parts of highland communities
