@tammyallenread2 A1: There have been times when I have had a lesson all planned out for the students to use technology and then the technology wasn't working that day and had to come up with a different plan for the day. I have learned that in this occupation you have to be flexible. #desTLAP

@tammyallenread2 @MrsAteachTech 5th grade used to do a career day. I think we may need to start doing this again. It would be a great opportunity for our students to see how they will use the skills they are taught in school in real life.

@tammyallenread2 A6: Everyday I sell to my students that math is an essential part in life and without it they will not be successful in life. For the most part the students are "buying" into it but there are a few that I am still working on but I refuse to give up. #desTLAP

@tammyallenread2 Fractions. I wish I had access to a kitchen because I would love to give students a recipe and have them multiply or divide the recipe by a fraction and then have them cook it. It would be amazing to see how the items tasted.

@tammyallenread2 A4: Pay attention to what the students have to say by giving them your undivided attention. When students are working go around and talk with each student to see if they have any questions. Go in everyday and teach passionately. #desTLAP
