@jen05376 @Condorcanqui23 @ghook @deeforbes_dee @RTEOne 2/2 It’s not censorship to have set standards for broadcasting set by the BAI to ensure respect, accuracy & objectivity in programmes. These standards were clearly not met by RTE which is why they then issued an apology.

@RTE re-showing its doc on Rosary Priest Fr Peyton on @RTENewsNow - that channel allows easy re-scheduling. This is @RTE’s sop to the many hurt by its NYE God-rapist joke and its non-apology. Clever move by the State broadcaster but licence-paying Christians shouldn’t be fooled.

An apology is due from @deeforbes_dee for allowing this muck to be broadcast on New Year's Eve.
