Jesus Christ man. Knowing how much time and effort stop motion/claymation takes makes me have nothing but respect and appreciation for the animators for this one. This movie 100% deserves it's classic status.
THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1993) gives Jack Skellington one of his coolest moments when he casually drops “Hello, Oogie” right as Oogie Boogie thinks he’s won. The best part is Oogie’s immediate panic: “You must be double dead!”
@majorityvotee@_hawtsauce@RSC_again Unrestricted internet access at an impressionable young age. Plus my religious views aligned with their political ones so I fell into that rabbit hole. Climbed out once I realized they hated me as well despite how agreeable I was with them.
@halcon_tek@joniniplo Only the big two though. I can see Indie comics getting far more popular thanks to creators like Matttt bringing more attention to them.
