Some of the echoes received at the antipodes are triple, showing a path of 2.5 turns around the Earth.

That triple dot (a S) can also be heard on the recording of the test

Remember:  In ham radio, it is unlikely that anyone will be as excited of your accomplishments as you.

And that's okay.

The times you almost gave up.  The times you almost didn't go.  The lid that ticked you off.  The dumb mistake you made.  The money you "wasted."  The time you "invested." The embarrassment of the times that you youself were accidentally the lid.

None of that matters.  

Who can understand what cannot be explained?

The friends that you have made.  The obstacles that you have overcome (both large and small).  The joy of learning something new.  The exercise of the mind and body.  The willingness to share and help others along the way.  The strange desire of interest - the curiosity.  The will to learn and do ... Knowing that very few will understand why your doing what you are doing ... And probably not understanding it yourself ... Not knowing the reason why.

It's all okay.

Joy, interest, perseverance, patience, willingness, desire, curiosity - the human will to do something with no material expectation of return on the investment ... Personal accomplishment.  The world doesn't understand and certainly doesn't value these "intangibles" and probably never will.
