Wherever I see Rwanda on billboards and screens worldwide, I immediately feel gratitude to our President H.E. Kagame. Thank you for elevating Rwanda onto the global stage.
Thank you Thank you Thank you
I urge African youth to actively engage in discussions and initiatives that push for a #VisaFreeAfrica by 2025. This is our moment to champion a borderless, united and stronger Africa.
This bold step by Ghana is a commendable move towards fostering Pan-African unity and economic integration. However, achieving a fully visa-free Africa requires 10 more countries to ratify the AU Protocol on Free Movement.
From January 2025, Ghana will join Rwanda, Seychelles, The Gambia, and Benin as one of the few African nations offering visa-free access to all African passport holders.
It’s time for our talent and ideas to move as freely as our dreams for a Better and Powerful Africa!
Let's Rise Up and get the conversation for a #VisaFreeAfrica going towards tangible action.
Free movement means stronger border management, better rule of law, advancements in human rights, and improved public health. It’s not just a dream; it’s the key to Africa’s success. Let’s push the conversation and take action for the #AfricaWeWant. 💪✨
Imagine an Africa where our people move freely, unlocking dreams like boosting Intra-Africa trade & tourism, labor mobility & skills exchange, a shared Pan-African identity & social integration, and better development & infrastructure. That’s the power of a #VisaFreeAfrica.
One river, one people but divided by visas and neglect. Lost opportunities, stifled unity, and failed leadership have gone on for too long. A #VisaFreeAfrica is overdue! It’s time for us, the ordinary citizens, to shake the tables and end this madness!
If even Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, needs over 35 visas just to travel and do business across Africa, imagine the barriers a young entrepreneur faces just to share their products, services, or vision beyond their own borders.
You don’t need to be an activist or a politician to realize that Africa needs change! A better Africa is our collective responsibility, so let’s take #ActionNow and make it happen!
PEOPLE, not just goods are the engine of Africa's powerful economic future. To achieve the #AfricaWeWant, we must #LetOurPeopleMove by advocating for a #VisaFreeAfrica. We can’t wait any longer; it’s time for us, the ordinary citizens of Africa, to take #ActionNow!
@AfricansRising As I read this thread, I can't help but admire the strong identity EU citizens have forged with their union, something our @_AfricanUnion , which often feels like a ‘toothless tiger,’ has yet to fully achieve.
The #AfricaWeWant is where we #LetOurPeopleMove freely to trade across the continent without barriers. Regional agreements are steps forward, but it’s time to unite for a truly #VisaFreeAfrica, empowering all Africans to move, innovate, and fight our common enemy "Poverty"
It's clear that Africa’s future will primarily depend on seamless trade across borders. This Trans-African Highway Network isn’t just roads, it’s a bridge for trade and opportunities. Let’s pave the way for #OneAfrica and unite to fight our common enemy; "poverty in Africa".
