The franchising era of NRG is coming to an end, and we wanted to take a moment to look back on what it meant to us.
From the rebuilds, to the champs run last year that made every tough season worth it, to making every LAN this year, when nobody could count us out: thank you for sticking with us through all of it.
It's the end of an era, but definitely not the end of us.
A year ago we stood on stage in Paris as world champs. We wanted to run that back and give you that feeling again. Instead our run ends here at 5-6th in Shanghai.
This team gave everything they had this year, and it was all for you guys. For everyone who watched us, set alarms in the middle of the night, filled the chat while we were down, and stuck with us through thick and thin: thank you. You made the journey worth it, and we carried that with us to the end.
We’ll be back, and we hope you’ll be right there with us when we are.
thatll be all for me here in shanghai no more watchpartys from me SORRY GUYS 💙 ill be back home on the 22/23rd and ready to stream ranked until then shoutout to everyone i met here and NRG and riot for blessing me with this opportunity 🥰 see you guys soon

Tom Holland reveals that Marvel directors tried to cut his Spider-Man debut down to almost nothing until Robert Downey Jr. forced them to shoot it
"My scene had been cut down significantly from what I'd done in the audition to now a page and a half or maybe even two pages"
"And we start shooting the scene, and Downey piped up and was like, 'Where's all the kid's lines gone?'"
"And the Russos sort of said... 'This is already a 140-page script, like we can't spend too much time on this'"
"And Downey was the one that was like, 'No, no, no... Let's shoot the whole thing from the audition. You can always cut it, but you'd want to have it.' And they used all of it"
"So I owe that to him. I'd love to one day do that... if I'd be lucky enough to somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe"
"I'd love to do for a young kid what Downey did for me"
people shit on this line so bad as if it's not what fully finally snapped bucky out of his brainwash enough to remember he DID have a life before hydra
