A pleasure to work with the RSS/Eco Committee @DronganPS today. The Environmental Crime Team attended at the school assembly to tell the children all about our job, we then joined the committee on a walk round to put up their posters and poo bag dispensers. Keep up the good work!

Our RRS/Eco Committee have been very busy with our Bag and Bin campaign.
We wrote to Environmental Crime at EA, who kindly donated 4000 bags for our handmade bag dispensers. We went on a walk around the village to put up posters and our dispensers. @EACEnvCrime @EastAyrshire

Police & Enforcement Officers have been continuing to patrol Kilmarnock Town Centre and Bus Station to detect & deter smoking & littering offences. Please avoid a fine by putting all your rubbish in the bin & refrain from smoking in enclosed public places #LitteringIsACrime

Fines totalling £1000 have been issued to an alleged fly tipper today after being detected during our joint patrols with Police Scotland. If unpaid a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal where they will face a max £40k fine & a custodial sentence #FlyTippingIsACrime

Officers were out early this morning carrying out dog fouling enforcement in Stewarton, Kilmaurs & Kilmarnock in response to complaints about owners not removing their dog mess in their community. A driver was also issued a £50 FPN for smoking in a work vehicle #BagItBinIt #

Officers have been in the Irvine Valley this morning carrying out foot patrols of hot spot areas to detect and deter dog fouling, littering and fly tipping offences. We also responded to complaints about abandoned vehicles in the villages #BeResponsible

Joint Police & Local Authority uniformed quad bike and foot patrols took place across the Irvine Valley & Kilmarnock today focussing on dog fouling, fly tipping & littering. Officers can issue on the spot fines for these offences or report offenders to the Procurator Fiscal
