[Grassroots @Teamgrassroots_]

Yet again this weekend an under 12s football game had to be abandoned today in Wigan by an under 18 referee (a child) due to a parent (an adult) storming onto the pitch.

They were all children on that pitch and Parents really need to learn that it's a children's football game.

Nobody should enter the field of play unless invited to do so by the referee.

This is a serious safety and safeguarding issue!

Incident has been reported.
