NEW VIDEO🎆: Dean Andrea Goldsmith discusses her vision for building up engineering within @princeton, a great liberal arts university. She talks about how our inclusive environment, our growing faculty and graduate student populations, and a rising new engineering neighborhood.
I had an awesome time doing my first ever field work all the way over in BARBADOS of all places! Thanks so much to @FlammangLab for showing us the ropes and somehow managing to balance the cameras AND herself on the boat. Can't wait to show everyone the flying fish videos we got!
Field work in Barbados to film flying fish! This was my first but thankful for my collaborators (and their kids ;D) who knew what they were doing ;D. Special thanks to @FlammangLab who sat on the bow for hours to get us precious footage!! w/ @Cotesia1 and @eagerexocoetus
It was really incredible to catch up with dear colleagues, mentors, and collaborators at @IEEEorg CCTA with @eagerexocoetus , @NHovakimyan @Cotesia1 @FlammangLab and @UMNAlleyne ! Thanks @UMNAlleyne for hosting a great meeting!
Our new lab is now up and running. We are still putting the final touches, but it is these incredible scientists who truly bring the lab to life!! (Missing

Annual Lab Outing was incredible, as usual :D Looking forward to a new productive years with each one in the lab meeting or exceeding their personal and professional goals!

"The first half of this paper details the design and validation of a modular flying #fish inspired robotic model #organism (RMO).
Most species of flying fishes are typical of open water pelagic species in that they are uniformly blue. Some species, especially those in the genus Cheilopogon, can have ornate fins with colorful markings!
Gannets can dive from a height of 30 m (100 ft), achieving speeds of 100 km/h (60 mph) as they strike the water
