@ruffydfire Your kind intervention is highly needed. The Noun management, Law School, CLE, Emeka Ngige, et-al should be interviewed. They cannot truncate and frustrate the aspirations of innocent Nigerians whose only crimes are that they attended a fed. Uni duly accredited. #DreamKillers
The Managing Director, Arise TV Nigeria, Headquarters, Lagos. Attention: Mr Rufai Useni. RE-PLIGHT OF NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY LAW GRADUATES DENIED ADMISSION INTO LAW SCHOOL. I write on behalf of about 4,000 or thereabouts Law graduates (LLB holders) of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). You're already aware Sir, that NOUN is one of the Federal Government accredited Universities by the NUC. Sometimes in 2004, the University started running a Law program and several Nigerians embrace it hoping to become Lawyers in the long run. The University has a system where graduates were unnecessarily delayed completion of studies. Despite this, students still grapple with that inadequacies to graduate with some doing so in 6,7 or 8 years rather than the usual 5 years. Note that the 1st set of law graduates graduated in 2014 but were denied admission into Nigerian Law School until Late President Muhammadu Buhari signed an amended Act Of National Open University by the National Assembly into law in 2018. As God would have it, in 2021 the Body of Benchers approved the initial admission of about 1,883 graduates to be admitted to Nigerian Law School. The BOB however added that they (1883) must pass through a Special Remedial Program (SRP) to be eligible for Bar part 2. Similarly, in that same year 2021 the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) during its annual general meeting held in PortHacourt, Rivers State made a written resolution that the remaining Law graduates upon graduation should attend the SRP for 16 weeks prequel to Bar part 2, meaning that they (NBA) were oblivious of the remaining NOUN Law graduates. Out of the 1883 graduates approved by BOB/CLE to attend Law School then, only about 1,270 or thereabouts were able to attend. Some couldn’t do so largely because of financial constraints, transfer to other Universities or loss of interest. This means that there was about over 500 vacancies left from the initial approval. By July 2025 the 1st set of NOUN law graduates were formally called to the Nigerian Bar with some emerging with 1st Class et-al. It should be noted that NOUN in obedience to CLE directives suspended admission of Law students since 2015 after sending a letter of termination of admission to students to either hurry up and graduate or transfer their studies to other universities. Those of us left were thinking that as soon as our seniors left the Law School, it would automatically be our turn. But to our greatest surprise, the Chairman of Council of Legal Education Mr Emeka Ngige (SAN) had during the Body of Benchers meeting held in June 2026 said that those of us that's left were non-existent and or impostors. He didn't stop there, during the NBA conference held in June 2026, he repeated a similar message and has been going about repeating this at any given opportunity thereby making us appear as inferior to attend NLS despite seeing our seniors graduating in flying colours. We have written several letters of appeal for intervention to both chambers of the National Assembly, the Attorney General and Minister's of Justice, the NOUN management itself to facilitate our smooth admission into NLS but all to no avail.
PRAYERS: AS A TELEVISION STATION THAT'S HIGHLY RESPECTED AND VIEWED ALL OVER THE WORLD,
WE HEREBY CRAVE YOUR INDULGENCE TO HELP US ESCALATE OUR PLIGHT ON YOUR TALK SHOW TO DRUM SUPPORT FOR OUR EARLY ADMISSION INTO NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL (NLS).
NOTE THAT MANY OF OUR GRADUATES HAVE DIED DUE TO DEPRESSION OF NOT BEING ABLE TO ACTUALIZE THEIR DREAMS FOR OVER 6 YEARS NOW.
WE ARE ON OUR KNEES PLEADING

My Analysis on Amupitan as the Next INEC Chairman
The Hausas cannot complain that he is not from the North since he hails from the North-Central.
The Igbos cannot complain that he is Yoruba since he is not from the South-West.
The Yorubas cannot complain that he is not Yoruba since no Yoruba person has ever been appointed to head INEC before.
With this appointment, Tinubu satisfies and confuses everyone.
Tinubu: the master chess player.

In a bid to improve the quality of life and ensure the equitable distribution of democratic dividends, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede (@KennydooOloyede), also known as Kendoo, has installed solar-powered street lights on Omilade Street. This initiative is part of his ongoing efforts to enhance security and revamp the area by illuminating the street at night.
The street’s transformation began with a complete overhaul of the drainage system, which has now been completed with slabs. The next phase, the installation of interlocking stone pavements, is set to commence shortly. Contractors are working tirelessly, day and night, to ensure timely completion of the project.
According to Chairman Oloyede, the installation of the street lights is aimed at deterring criminal activities that thrive in poorly lit areas. He reassured residents that the project will be delivered on schedule, urging them to remain patient and cooperative as the rehabilitation works continue.
