@Launch_NY A10. Get creative. The Pandemic has taught people how to think outside the box. Candidates need to stand out more in a virtual setting. Showing energy & connecting virtually isn’t as easy as an in-person meeting would be. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A9. Organized, disciplined, & self-motivated. It’s hard to micromanage in a virtual world so you want candidates/employees you can trust. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A8. Leveraging technology. The Pandemic has forced people to become more comfortable with video conferencing & interviews vs. in-person only. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A6. Starts with phone or video interviews, in-person meetings on a case-by-case basis. Everyone wears a mask and maintains social distancing protocols. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A5. Make an effort to connect regularly on a personal level about what is going on in everyone’s lives outside the office. We often kick off our morning meetings by talking about sports, kids, home renovations, health, before diving into work-related talk. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A4. Allow for more flexibility where we can. Connect as a team every morning for 15-30 min to go over projects & see how everyone is doing mentally & emotionally through these trying times. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A3. Not having as much 1-to-1 personal engagement so we make an extra effort to connect virtually on both a professional and personal level to ensure team members are doing well professionally and personally throughout the Pandemic. #LaunchHour
@Launch_NY A2. Fortunately, we were already set up to work in a hybrid model with having offices in Buffalo and Syracuse, and team members traveling to complete projects. Therefore, we haven’t seen a huge impact on business operations. #LaunchHour
