LEBRON IS COMING TO PHILLY.
By the power vested in me as the Governor of the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a die-hard Sixers fan... I hereby proclaim today to be LEBRON JAMES DAY.
Welcome to the City of Brotherly Love, @KingJames.
BREAKING: LeBron James is signing with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, Klutch Sports Group and Klutch CEO and Game Over show host Rich Paul tells ESPN.
Philon just got asked by @ChrisBHaynes what we could expect from him in the second half after 13 points and a 14 pt Sixers lead in the first half
Philon: "A lot of cooking"
@rBillSimmonsPod My favorite thing Bill Simmons ever said about Paul George:
“He’s like a cat. He will jump in your lap every once in a while. He’s super lovable. Other times, you’re like, ‘Where’s Paul George?’ ‘Oh, he’s in the garage.’”
@thomasrp93 That team was so fun. People rightfully think of Vick, Djack and Shady first but I feel like Maclin doesn't get talked about nearly enough. He was also very good and electric.
@D_lowww@KevinOConnor@databallr Agreed I think it's great analysis but the idea its a huge dice roll bc of the contract dismisses the fact they already had a massive PG contract on the books. It's 1 year more but otherwise you gave 2 1sts to get 6 years younger and a better player. I don't view it as that risky
Just in: Free agent guard Anfernee Simons has agreed to a two-year, $12.3 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, with a player option in second season, sources tell ESPN. Simons chose the 76ers over other suitors believing his fit is perfect with the revamped 76ers roster.
The Celtics were originally asking the Sixers to include VJ Edgecombe in the Jaylen Brown trade alongside Paul George, per @ShamsCharania.
Boston’s asking price on Brown continued to fall over the past few weeks until they accepted Philadelphia’s deal centered on George + picks.
BLOCKBUSTER: The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.
