@nidhi_vijayan To me, the second means you’re putting 1 ml culture in 8 ml stock (or something), which would not equal a 10% dilution as the first would indicate, right? So I think I learned the x:y to mean something different?

@EG_Microbio I am feeling the exact same way. I don’t want to be back. At all. I feel like students aren’t taking things seriously and we aren’t as protected as the rules say we should be.

One of the worst parts of this is that students cannot even request a roommate who is vaccinated or medically exempt. Nor will they be told, at least according to the town hall I attended virtually earlier in the summer.

Documents reviewed by Connecticut Public’s Accountability Project show at least 771 students requested exemptions for nonmedical reasons, such as religious beliefs or personal discomfort with the vaccine. UConn’s dean of students granted 504 of those requests as of last week.
